This post is long way overdue. This happened 2 weeks back..A bit complicated but the story went like this.
It was my twinnie boyfriend's birthday and his work friends decided to throw him a surprise party. So the plan was for Lydia to bring him to d'italiane kitchen @ Sunway Giza for dinner and while they were deciding on their orders, the whole group of us will come in with a birthday cake and yell "SURPRISE!!!".
or so she thought...
In actual fact, it was a surprise for her. The birthday party was a decoy planned by him to propose to her. And my twinnie's boyfriend was nice enough to invite me for this party.. *Thank You*
So here's what happen on that Saturday night...
Some of the girls came early to decorated the place so beautifully with rose petals, balloons and candles..
We were hiding one floor above, waiting for them to arrive...
They are HERE!!! Quick, put the ring in the secret box... Light the candle... Let's go!!!
I was hidden behind everyone so I did not manage to capture what happened except the important part.... the proposal!!. * I was too short :(* But we went in singing a birthday song and then demanded that he make a speech *which was part of the plan*. He started thanking us and then move on to talk about how happy he is Lydia, and all the mushy lovey stuff.... and then he got down knees and proposed *awwww*
She said YES!!!

It was so shiny that we had a hard time taking a picture of it... :) the lights keep reflecting back...

Can't remember what we actually ordered... but the food was good. The waiting time was a little long as it was a busy Saturday night... but its delicious. Price is slightly above average but worth the price paid :)
