Amazing Bridal Spa Party @ Vita Spa

*post first appeared on www.doubleescapades.blogspot.com

Next week, a girlfriend will be crossing from singlehood to being married and I couldn't be more happy for her. We celebrate this transition with a girls pampering session and a wild night after :)

When we decided on a pampering session, the next question is "Where?". My first thought was automatically Vita Spa as I have been there a couple of years back for a friend's bridal shower. I contacted them and they very efficiently made the necessary arrangements for us.

I stepped into Vita Spa and was greeted with soothing music and sweet smelling incense. The blue lights gave it a slightly futuristic feel but the flickering candlelight made the atmosphere soothing and cosy at the same time. Slippers were placed in a row for us to slip out of our heels into something comfortable. Everything was laid out, ready, awaiting the arrival of the VIP and her girlfriends.

Finally, the Bride-to-be arrived and we were given some time to nibble on beautifully laid out fruits while we picked our door gifts. There were whoops of joy as freebies such as OPI nail varnishes and spa treatment vouchers were drawn by each girl. We took some time deciding on which type of aromatherapy oil and scrub we wanted and then it was the pampering session time. No pictures taken during as I myself drifted off in bliss as the skillful masseur worked her magic.

After an amazing session, we were all feeling gorgeous, relaxed and ready to party the night away at The Social in Publika. Although I might say that the service at The Social wasn't up to par but the crowd gave opportunities for all the 'tasks' we had for the bride-to-be. We were really grateful for all the diners and visitors at Publika who were sporting enough to play along with her ;p I will not post up pictures of what happened that night as what happened there stays between the girls but here's a group picture.

I had fun and I know that the whole group enjoyed themselves too.

Not many places cater for big groups who have different requirements but I am thankful that not only did Vita Spa accommodated our group of noisy girls, they did such a great job with our various requests. If you ever need a place to have a bridal party, I would recommend going there. There were 7 of us and we had an average of 2.5-3 hours of treatment each varying from aromatherapy massage, body scrub, body mask, spa manicure or pedicure, gel manicure or pedicure and facial. The bride-to-be had an additional jacuzzi floral bath. The bridal party/bachelorette party package also included door gifts. We each paid only RM180 for treatments that is worth at least RM310-370 and door gifts worth RM50-80. Isn't that an amazing, awesome deal??

Now, time for me to dig out the vouchers I got from my door gift and take my mum over for a pampering session. I asked them if they were having any Mother's Day promotion and they informed me that they are. For Mother's Day, they are offering complimentary facial for customers who purchase a minimum of 1 hour aromatherapy massage (based on their menu price) throughout the entire month of May. They have just recently introduced a new facial using products from an award winning brand - Institut Esthederm from France, which is very effective, yet gentle to the skin. What a great way to treat their customers! Why just pamper our body when our face needs pampering too?

And guess what?!! The nice people at Vita Spa is offering a FREE toe nail colour service with any purchase at Vita Spa Solaris to any of our readers. There is no minimum purchase. All you gotta do is just use the magic word 'doubleescapades' and you get it for FREE.

OK. Time to set my appointment with them :)

Zara Warehouse Clearance @ Atria Shopping Centre

Its crazy here again @ Atria. Why? Cos Zara Warehouse Clearance is on again... As mention previously in my post last year... people starting queuing up early in the morning... But luckily the queue wasn't as long last year.. If you want to come, check details below :

Date : 26th - 29th May 2011
Time : I dunno la.. Come early and start queuing up. I think today they open slightly before 11am.
Venue : Atria Shopping Centre, Damansara Jaya. .. same as last year..

I've not pop in for a look yet but last year one was massive. Rows and rows, racks and racks, clothes, clothes, clothes, shoes, dresses, accessories, belts... lots la... and people just go crazy.. not just girls but guys too..

If you are coming, here are some advice:

1. Wear something comfortable, it might get a little hot if the crowd is big.

2. Wear something tight so that you can slip on any clothes to try... i.e. tights or leggings..

Picture credited to www.clipartguide.com with some editing by me
3. Don't la wear high heels. You think come here for fashion show? You should pray that no one sees you while you are shopping at a warehouse clearance

4. Bring a bag or basket or something to hold the items that you have selected. Cos last time I took something but didn't have enough hands to hold it, put it down for not even a second before someone else grab it. Bye bye dress :(

5. Don't park inside Atria's Carpark. Cos its expensive and its always full during sales..

6. If you still decide to park inside, just come by my shop, spend RM30 and you'll get 1 hour free parking. Applicable on weekdays only.

7. Come on the weekends. Yes, they will be more people but parking will be much easier cos you don't have to fight for parking with offices around here. And parking is free. Yay!!

8. If you decide to wear your stilettos and can't walk far, just park inside. For weekends, parking is at a flat rate of RM2.

9. Lastly, come drop by my shop... :)

My Best Friend's Wedding..

I remembered the time when Tim left for Melbourne to further his studies. I kept promising that I will come over to visit him. And I did mean too. But year after year, studies were in the way and then work came along. Little did I know that 7 years later, I will finally make it to Melbourne…. for his wedding…

Time really did fly. I still remember him as a tall, long hands, long legs, skinny guy, not forgetting also.. a super fussy guy who went through teens with me. Studies, crushes, camps, rebellious stage * he, not me :) .. actually no.. we were such goody people*, exams, comparing results, driving license, work, college… Maybe the fact that both our families were close brought us together. We started out as church friends, friends, family friends to being best friends. And yes, I do believe that people of the opposite sex can be best friends.

Sadly, we drifted apart during college years. Its his fault… who asked him to go so far away :) Anyway, the distance, the different lives that we lived made that change possible.

And as usual, you’ll never know what he will do next. From changing his degree, to his working life to his many different businesses… from a girl in church, to a trip up the mountain, to finally opening up his heart to care for someone else besides himself….to talking about diamond rings.. and finally..

I AM IN MELBOURNE….

He is getting married this Sunday to a really cool girl.. And yes, I can finally say, he has found his match… Someone who can stand up to his egoism, his sarcasm, his drive to achieve his dream… Ewnice, if he ever work too hard, give him a wack and pull him back to the real world k :p

And even thought we’ve drifted apart, I still consider him as one of my best friend… I remembered him as a boy… but he is now a man…a soon-to-be married man..

Congratulations to Tim and Ewnice… My prayers will always be with you… Tim, love her with your all… and Ewnice, behind every great man, there is an even greater woman :)

Gosh… weddings are making me so emo…

perky breast

After yet another tiring day, I decided to take a breather tonight...  Watched some TV and flipped through my barely-opened October 2010 issue of Female magazine.

As you know, October is Breast-Cancer Awareness month and there is this article under the Beauty 101 section on "10 ways to beautiful breasts". The article asked "Are you taking good care of your breasts?" and listed 10 ways you can have beautiful breasts naturally.

And, yes... I did read through the article... not because I want or need to have beautiful breasts.. cos my breasts is already beautiful, thank you very much. but more out of curiosity (come on, don't tell me you won't be curious too?)... OK, enough of my breasts...

Something caught my eyes.. No.3 is about the "Cold Treatment". It say, quoted directly from the article, "Whenever possible, soak your breasts in a large bowl of ice water for a few minutes before going to bed. Women who have tried this swear it works to keep breasts perky and firm... "

Hmmmm..... Anyone in need of perkier breasts?

sweet guys

You know, I get all soft whenever I see a guy does something really sweet.

So here's what happen today. A good-looking guy entered the shop. He is in his 30-ties and well-dressed. After awhile I approached him, and found out he was helping his daughter to buy a birthday present for her mother; who is also his wife.. He was looking for something "special". After some random chatting and stuff, I realised that he is very shy... and guess what, the daughter is 18 months old!! If you are thinking what I'm thinking, its no rocket science. My take is that he is buying the present for his wife but was too shy to let others know.

Why? Is it because he is afraid the wife will reject the present? And he trying to convince himself that the daughter is buying for the mother and not him for his wife, so that the rejection won't be that bad. Or maybe he is afraid to show affection? Or he thinks he is pampering her too much *the horror*?

I'm a girl. And I know many girls who appreciate any kind of gift from a guy. It doesn't matter if its something small or cheap. As long as it's sincere and it comes from the heart, its received with open hands. Unless of cos the girl is a total BITCH..

I would say I'm a lucky girl. But not pamper, and definitely not spoilt. Rockstar is erm.. great.. OK, I will leave it as that and not to make you vomit with all the sweet stuff that he has done as to not risk spoiling his macho guy image.

Anyway, if you want something to tear-up over, check this out. If you know him, he is this huge long hair gangster looking with black sunglasses guy, whereas she is really small size girl *she is wayyy smaller then me ok*. And just looking at how much he loves her is enough to make me get chills... haha.. Just kidding babe.. You guys are perfect for each other and I wish you all the best :)

Anyway, I want to salute all the guys who are willing to love and not care about what other people may think.  *salute*

Anyway, since Rockstar is not around, I've been very lonely.. And this is what I have been doing at night..

Haha...You might be thinking yeah right but it's true. I do enjoy watching it.. Rockstar got me hooked..

But I have been out every single night since he left and I felt like staying home...  So that's what I did tonight. Watch Justice League.. besides blogging and chatting with Rockstar..

It's nice, you should watch too :)

Oh, and it's less than 48 hours before Rockstar comes home. Can't wait :) :) :)

I miss my shoes

One thing that I miss after leaving the corporate world is.....MY SHOES!!!!

I miss strutting down the office aisle in my sexy heels..

I miss choosing my clothes to match my shoes..

I miss sharing and showing off my collection of shoes with my colleagues..

I miss shopping and buying gorgeous shoes..

I miss painful and aching ankles.. *seriously*

And my shoes missed me too…

I have a lot of shoes. Well, not as much as Carrie Bradshaw but I wish I did *wistful* Shoes are my weakness. No, it's not an addiction... I only buy shoes that I really like.. Which is like every week month *sheepish grin*.. That was before ok. Now no point buying them. But shoes are my therapy. Whenever I am sad, or stress…shoes makes me happy. All my troubles and problems seem to vanish the minute I go shoe shopping *bliss*

It’s been almost a year since I touch them *horror*

Check out the layers of dust covering them… let’s not talk about the amount of cobwebs…

You think that’s a lot? When I left Sunway last year, I threw away many pairs which were much loved. These are the survivors..

Anyway, last weekend I took them out and did a spring cleaning. After all, a girl got to take care of her shoes..

So this is the end results. My beloved shoes…Aren’t they pretty?

Wait, that’s not all… I have another shoe cupboard for all my slippers, monobos, sandals, etc.. I call it the “Flatties” cupboard.

They are the ones that I wear nowadays. Well, I can’t possible lug around goods and boxes of stuff in my high heels right? Or wear heels standing long hours in retailing line? It’s either I’m ready for a big disaster to happen or I’m just plain crazy.

Eventhough I don't wear them anymore.. besides the occasional events like weddings.. I still like them. Sometimes when I walk thru malls, I avoid shoes shops. Why? Cos my heart aches. Seeing all the beautiful shoes and not just because I can't afford them now, I DON'T WEAR THEM. Would I be considered crazy if I just buy them for the sake of displaying them on my shelves and just admire them?

Yep, maybe a little crazy... and stupid too..

Anyway, I will dedicate this post to all my beloved shoes. You will be sorely missed :( But I promise you that you will never be forgotten. One day…

one day….

money matters

Overheard.

Girl  : Hey, have you paid your share for Jennifer's birthday presents?
Guy : Yes, remember I gave you RM50 the last time?
Girl  : Nope, I don't remember la.
Guy : Yes, I gave you RM50 the last time.
Girl  : But I don't remember receiving RM50.
Guy : Wah! Too much la you. Paid you already some more you say I didn't pay.
Girl  : *sulks*

OK. This is just based on observation and own speculation. I think that the girl might be thinking, "I really don't remember. How can he say something like that to me? As least I am honest. It's not like I want to cheat his money. But the guy, on the other hand, might be thinking.. "Why she so dishonest one? She want to cheat my money is it?"

Well, after hearing this, it caught me thinking; money have always been an issue in relationship. It doesn't matter if the guy is earning more or the girl is earning more, or even if they are both super rich or poor. Money will and have always been an issue in relationships. How do couples handle the financial part of their relationships?

It's muddling me even more now as both my elder sisters have just gotten married. And even their weddings caused problems between both families. Issues such as who pays for what and who covers the losses or gets the profits and who gives more, how much dowry to give and etc etc... Should weddings be paid by the guy or both share the cost?

That's just the wedding. What about after that? Between husbands and wives, how do the settle all their monthly expenses. Does the husband pays for everything? Or the wife chips in also? That's if she is working. What if she is an housewife? Does that mean the husband pays for everything? How much then should the husband give the wife for her own expenses? *after all, a girl still needs to new bag or new clothes or even just a manicure*

But I'm not just talking about a husband wife relationships; what about boyfriend girlfriend relationships?

A couple of years back, during a lunch session with my friends, I brought my the topic of who pays for what in a relationship. Well, one said that he and his girlfriend split 50 50 for everything. That means if they got for dinner, he pays for his own share while she pays for her share. Another friend said that its depends but mostly its about 60 40 or 70 30. When I was in college, I knew a classmate who gave his girlfriend RM300 a month *shock*. Where does he gets the money from? I meant we were still in college. I know a lot of college kids cannot even survive themselves and maintain a girlfriend, let alone gives her spending money??

*sigh* you might be fed up with all the questions and questions and more questions but I'm just very curious.

I know of a family friend who opened a bank account for his wife and every month, he will just bank in the money for her. Another friend does the opposite, he pays for everything his wife wants. But if you are a girl, you will understand what I mean when I say that a guy will never understand why we girls need just another bag or that gorgeous must-die-for shoes when we already have gazillion of them in our cupboards. I have seen a lady, someone close to me, walked away sadly from a pair of shoes; where she stood and stared at it with longing in her heart but choose to turn and walk away in her 5-year old pair of shoe knowing that her husband would not agree to it. How sad is that? And I have also seen a wife's handphone broken but her husband refuse to buy her a new one, when he himself carries a brand new blackberry.

Ok, this are some extreme examples but the bottomline is, money is and will always be an issue in relationships. Some may be brought up during shouting matches and some may just be kept down deep in the recess of the heart, never to see the light of day while suffering in silence.

Well, if you ask me, I would of cause prefer that the guy pays for everything. Afterall, he is the man. But as what one of my friend said, "It's not fair that the guy pays for everything when they both are earning the same salary. They should share it out" So what is fair and what is not?

I know. I know. I've been hearing and reading about not letting money get in between relationships, and talking is the key. But does talking really helps?

Is there any sure-proof money plan for relationships or will we continue to watch helplessly as money destroy us?

What Distance I’d Go for My Other Half

I’ve read a number of girls’ blogged about “What Distance I’d Go for My Other Half” and to me it seems a little cheesy. I meant come on la… if going the distance for my other half means cooking a meal for him or telling him I love you or surprising him with presents and stuff, or even flying to see him and all, kissing him, being with him... What happen to real sacrifices? Going the distance means so much more then the physical thing that you do or the material things that you give to your other half.

To me, going the distance means…

Saying sorry even if I am not wrong

Keeping quiet even if his driving sucks

Giving in after a fight

Accepting his bad habits

Staying in when he don’t feel like going out even if I so badly wanted to go out

Watch all his gory movies with him and squirm through it

Not complaining about “mamak” dates

Forgiving him even if he made a mistake

Or many mistakes

Keeping quiet went he is in one of his sour mood

Or when he forgets about me whenever his starts thinking about work

Or when he sorts of zonk out and doesn't listen to what I say

Not nagging him even if I cannot understand why he keeps wearing his holey socks

Or how super untidy his cupboardis.. and also his room

Giving up my dreams just so that he can go for his

Being proud of him even if he is not the champion

Being there for him whenever he needs me even if I got tons of things to do and am super duper tired

Staying up late to fit his lifestyle even if I’m a morning person

Knowing went to give in even if I don’t feel like it

Accepting that guys do have mood swings and they do get cranky sometimes..

Not expecting him to become un-cranky whenever I’m around

Hanging out with him and his friends even if I think that they talk a lot of nonsense

Accepting the fact that guys will always be guys..

And it is normal for them to check girls out

Or flirt with other girls…

As long as he remains faithful to me

Trusting him even when I don’t feel like it

Not saying anything even if it kills me

Accepting him for all his stubbornness and ego-ness..

And the list goes on and on..

Loving someone and going the distance for someone is not a bed of roses. It’s not just being happy, with pink hearts and cotton candies. Being in a relationship, you need to learn how to give and take. And to me, going the distance means that there have to be sacrifices. Lots of them.

Loving someone needs courage, willingness and sacrifices...

….and that what’s going the distance means to me..

The Ladder Theory

It’s funny how girls know whether a guy is boyfriend material or not? Or whether the guys have a chance of going a bit further? Some call it instinct, some call it past experience, and some call it a game.

I, on the other hand, call it… Intuition…

You know there is this theory call the “Ladder Theory”. You can read more about it here .

Anyway, this theory talks about how people of the opposite sex you meet has a rating. And this applies both to guys and girls. The difference about them is that guys only have 1 ladder, where else girls have 2. Before any dirty comments come out, this is a guy’s ladder.

This picture is self-explanatory. Mind you, this is an example of a typical guy. If you are not a typical guy, I got nothing to say :p

Anyway, lets more to something more interesting. The girl’s ladder.

Now you know why girls are so complicated.

We girls have a tendency to rate guys that we met and know based on 2 category “Friends” and “More then friends”. Now, for those girls who try to deny it, it’s useless. No matter how much we try to avoid this, instinctively we will. We meet guys that bring just a tiny flutter to your stomach, or the way he looks at you gives you tingle down your back. And we met guys that just, sad to say, you knowingly know will remain as friends. Nothing more then that unless God decides otherwise :p

Anyway, what I’m trying to say is that on the “More then friends” ladder, there will NOT only be 1 guy. Even for those who are in a relationship, there will be other guys, those that you met before your relationship and those you meet after you are in a relationship, which will be on that ladder.

But… what’s important is that these guys does not climb too high up the “More then friends” ladder. It will be difficult. I meant, who can resists the attraction or the excitement or the thrill of someone new, someone more exciting. But the attraction, the excitement, the thrill, might just die off when someone new comes up. It’s always more exciting when things are new. However, what matters is who is the guy who comes up right at the top of the ladder even after the thrill is gone *or the one who keeps the thrill going on and on* :)

So be careful who you allow to climb up your ladder. Take the risk but not at others expense, or even your own. No use regretting. Don’t give up the best for a “maybe better” someone.

And the same goes for guys… No discriminating us girls ok? It’s harder to keep someone off 1 ladder then 2 ladders we girls have more options. So start worrying about who is climbing up your ladder. Especially if you are in a relationship... *You have been warned!!!*

Sex and the City 2

I was feeling pretty excited when the movie came out. Not because I am a fan of it, nope, didn't even watch the first one or the series but I was more excited about seeing all the gorgeous, jaw-dropping, drool-dripping.. you get the idea .. SHOES!!!

  *picture taken from Google Image

Since I needed some kaki to watch with me, I decided to call my sisters for a Girls Night Out.

So yesterday night, the 4 of us headed to 1 Utama to catch it. Woots!

  *picture taken from Google Image

You can hear me swooning every know and then. Let me tell you, the shoes were absolutely gorgeous.. And the thing about them is that they wear super high heels eveywhere, even at home when they are watching TV or when they are chilling in their shorts and t-shirts. Crazy huh? I wonder how their feet can take it. Mine would most probable scream at me to take it off.

  *picture taken from Google Image

I like the gold one when she first appear. It just so bling. And the pink strappy sandles that she wore at the souk. They are absolutely beautiful *saliva dripping* Ignore the outfit tho. Can somebody please tell me where I can get them?

  *picture taken from Google Image

  *picture taken from Google Image

The wardrobe was really nice but for small size people like me, absolute no-no. I would definately swim in all those maxi dresses. If only I was taller :(

  *picture taken from Google Image

Anyway, the character that I like the wardrobe the best was Charlotte. She had a certain kind of elegance that I heart.

  *picture taken from Google Image

  *picture taken from Google Image

I do not understand why the reviews for this movie is bad. Most probably they were reviewed by guys who do not know how to appreciate them. For those who have not watch, here's my reason why it's such a good movie and why you should watch it..

Reason #1. They have amazing shoes and outfit. It's time you learned a thing or two about fashion.

Reason # 2. I learned a new word. " Inter-friend-tion". Its a term used when a friend intervenes when she feels that its necessary. It shows the bond between them and how they helped and supported each other.

Reason # 3. It inspired me to go for a camel ride. Things to do before I die.

  *picture taken from Google Image

Reason # 4. They each have a personal butler; who will carry your shoe and hold an umbrella for you if you need to take a walk down the beach, heat up milk for you at night, do facial with you and just basically wait on you hands and feet. Who wouldn't want that?

  *picture taken from Google Image

Reason # 5. Anytime you encounter an issue, take a sip. Problem solved. :p

  *picture taken from Google Image

Reason # 6. Girls are girls. We want the flirting, we want the attention , but we don't want the kissing. Such torture for the guys. We are mean aren't we?

Reason # 7. Whenever we feel that life is taking a toll on us, its time to take a break.

Reason # 8. Have you ever met people who lived in the past and they refuse to let go of their past? Sometimes we want our past so much that we screw up our future. We got to realise that we are growing up and that living in the past will make us lose out future.

  *picture taken from Google Image

Reason # 9. In a relationship, there should not be any secrets. Sometimes the truth hurts, but in the long run, it would be better for both. I think Carrie did right in telling her husband even if she almost lose him. In the end, she got him and she got her spakle back in her relationship. A huge sparkle. My kind of ring :p *

  *picture taken from Google Image

Reason # 10. We all make mistake.

And lastly, get ready a piece of tissue.. for the drool dripping from your mouth..

  *picture taken from Google Image

I want! I want! I want! *

* a note to future husband

My Saturday morning started like this.. *Boing*boing*boing* my phone sounded at 4.30am. (That’s my msg tone btw). I received a sms from A stated that she wanted to cancel her Hen’s Party that night due to some "issues" with her husband-to-be. It being 4.30am and considering the fact that I was still in dreamland, I decided that it can wait till morning. When I woke up at 6am, i remembered her msg and straight away replied her asking her what happen, how is she and whether she would change her mind? No response. Well, maybe she slept late and she’s not awake yet.

So I went for my BB meeting as usual and waited..

At 10.30am, I receive a call for JH asking what is going on tonight.. OMG!!! The nerve of him. I’ve sent countless of emails, facebook messages and wall posts and he can call me up and ask me what is going on and when is the party. Eish, some people can be so clueless. Sorry JH :p Well, me being such a nice person decided to reply all his queries nicely. JH is a guy btw. And if you thinking, “A guy? Hen’s party?” Well, the bride-to-be insisted and who am I to say no. And I was hoping that he will do some free dances for us and save us the cost of hiring a striper. Hehe.. Anyway, I told him the all the plans but he couldn’t make it, and decided to only join us for lunch the next afternoon. And just for the records, he said him got no issues sleeping in a room with 6 other girls.. Well, I'll will say the more the merrier, what more with 1 being a guy..there are countless of things that we can do... muahahaha!!! Anyway, back to the story..

At 11am, I finally received a response. Not from A tho, but for her husband-to-be requesting that I do not cancel the party and to insist that she go. YAY!!! It sounded good to me as I was really really looking forward to it. I can already imagine the number of money that we are going to raise, and the things that A is going to do for us... *another evil grin*

At 11.19am, I receive an sms from another J asking whether the party is still on as the bride-to-be has messaged her saying it’s cancelled. Well, I replied and said that it’s definitely on. I will make sure the bride-to-be attends it. After all we did put so much effort into it and i did not want to waste it.. I was mentally forcing A not to change her mind.. hehe.. and I took the bridegroom word for real...

So I happily went along with my plans and was really busy with my carefully planned schedule of the day…

At 2pm, I received THE SMS. The sms that change the whole world... erm, my Saturday world la... It came from the bridegroom and it just stated that A insisted that she does not want to go and for us to cancel the party. I didn’t know what to say or do. All my hopes for that night, all my excitement, all my carefully planned party, all my 2 weeks of hard work and brainstorming, all my many smses, calls, emails, wall post, annoying people are going to be wasted. I have a bride-to-be Hen Party outfit consisting of a bridal veil, a flowy pinkish girly skirt, a hand-painted shirt with the word “Bride-to’be” all packed up. I have 2 reservations made, 1 hotel room booked and confirmed, 7 free passes to MOS as guest of DJ Kaskade, 1 outfit for the night, another dress for the lunch, all my make-up and hair stuff and a HUGE bag of lollipops.

I said in silence for a few minutes and then started grumbling and murmuring and complaining and making a big fuss... I was so disappintment... I started calling all the guests, informing them about the cancel party, cancelled all my reservation and oh no!! The room is charged already. We gotta pay RM345 even if we are not going. Sigh… And then started grumbling to myself again.. I called my sister and started complaining again..

And suddenly, wait a second, I am NOT the bride... Why am I making such a big fuss? Its not like my wedding is cancelled or something.. :p

I was just disappointed that my carefully planned scehdule is not going to happen and wanted to look for somebody to put the blame on.. Hmmm, maybe i should put the blame on the husband-to-be.. After all, he was the caused of it.. And if I was in A's position, I will be dam pissed..

But nah, I'm just joking.. no worries, I'm not blaming anyone. I know it just happened unexpectedly and nobody would have wanted it to happen, especially the bride-to-be.. So yeah, its just that my carefully planned schedule is in serious jeopardy.

Anyway, J called me and started laughing. She said that she found the whole situation quite funny. A was not a Runway Bride but a Runaway Bride-to-be.. Haha..

Thankfully there will be NO Runaway Bride.. I hope.. I have faith in you A, contrary to what you said.

What matters most is that the issue between them is solved. And I'm hoping and praying that it is.. and that this situation will bring them even closer to each other..
So that’s how my day when, driving around the whole Selangor state while being on my phone non-stop till the battery finally died at around 5.30pm. *Note to self : Get a handsfree set. It's dangerous to drive and sms and talk at the same time. I spend a total of RM23 just on toll charges in just 1 day and uncountable cost on phone calls and smses.

Crazy day huh?! Well, it’s a quite normal day in a life of Esther Chew… Now it’s straight to bed for me, my eyes are already ¾ closed…

Oh yeah 1 final task, a HUGE bag of lillipops to dispose off. Lollis anyone?

I need you..

Guess what? I realized that guys and girls can be so different sometimes...

When a girl tells a guy " I need you", she means that she wants him there with her; pysically, mentally and emotionally. She needs him to be there sharing thoughts, supporting her and just being there for her. She wants him to lend a shoulder, wipe her tears, give a hug, hold her tight. She needs to feel that with him there, together, they can stand against the whole world. Just his presence being there, that's what she needs.

When a guy tells a girl "I need you", he means that he wants her love and to know that she loves him. She does not have to be there beside him but its the knowing that she cares and love him. He needs to know that no matter what happens, and even if they are miles apart, she still loves him. He needs the confidence that she belongs to him and will stay right beside him. He needs to know that she will be there for him and will support him true thick and thin.

Well, I learned it the hard way. But enought said, its better late then never :) So what does "I need you" means to you?
