Travel Finds for Sale

I am so totally feeling the jet lag. My eyes are half closed and I am desperate enough to drink Chinese Tea to keep myself awake. For those who don't know, caffeine causes to me do weird stuff -_-. Anyway, just a quick post while I shift through my US trip photos and post them up. It will be soon because I still have photos from my Vietnam trip and I might be leaving on another trip in 2 weeks time. :)

Me twinnie and I decided to let go of some accessories we collected throughout our travels. I love accessories. I am sure to get some whenever I travel and since I have tons of them collecting dust in my cupboard, I'm letting some of them go. I need more space in my cupboard for more stuff too :p. So if you are interested, click here to view them.

Exciting news - Double Escapades!

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. Reason being is that me twinnie and I was working on a project which is now ready. We have both been blogging for many many years and decided why not combine our 'skills'. So here's what we came up with - a new blog on the lives and escapades of a pair of twins. This new blog will be a combination of both our blogs, focusing on everything from being a twin, to love, life, fashion, travel, and more.

Now, let me give you reason to click the link below :
1. For friends, family, readers who follow both our blog, wouldn't it be easier to just read one to keep updated on our lives?
2. For friends, family, readers who feels that my travel post are too long, and you just want to read the short version, here's the good news. Everything else about my life will be on the new blog. Whenever I blog about my travels on this blog, I will post a single photo/short paragraph of it on the new blog. So for those who want to read more, the link will be there.
3. For readers who are here for my travel post, you would not be subject to the boringness of my personal life :) This blog will focus on just travel post.
4. 2 lives of 2 hot, sexy and gorgeous girls *sorry, kinda delusion ;p* . What's there not to like? ;p
5. Because I say so... muahahaha!!

Anyway, click HERE NOW... NOW ... NOW!!!!!

Catch Up @ The Daily Grind

Just yesterday, Ly and I caught up for some catching up and food. Marriage life means less time together. Anyway, we headed to Jalan Telawi 3 in Bangsar to try the all newly opened KGB Burgers but alas, it was closed. We walked through the side/back alley to get to the other side when I spotted this stairs and said to her, "Get up there" and we did an impromptu photoshoot.

For more pictures, go check her blog

And then we headed to The Daily Grind @ Bangsar Shopping Center - with its retro seatings and all natural food.

Me twinnie. Not me.
Just imagine someone who looks like that but with shorter hair, no makeup and less fashion sense. That's me.

Beef Portobello Paleo RM25

Portobello Mozza Stack RM25

Iced Chocolate RM10
TOG Apple & Mint Iced Tea RM9

Yeah, if you must know. We both have a thing for mushrooms. I gotta say that the burgers were really good. Done just right with enough juiciness. However, the Portobello Mozza Stack was kinda small with just a meat covered by 2 large mushrooms. Really good but we find the price kinda high. Just once is enough for the experience. Next time, maybe when I have cravings for really good burgers. For now, McDonalds or Ramly burgers is good enough for me.

Weekend Gateway to PD - Girls only!!

4 friends. 17 years. Friendship of a lifetime.

We've been planning a getaway for so long and finally managed to get a weekend free. Last Saturday, we packed out bags, bikinis, sunglasses, sunscreen... grab our bags, and off we go. About 1 1/2 hour drive later, we reach our destination - Ancasa All Suites Resort & Spa.

Woohoo!! We got a huge sea view apartment with gorgeous bay view to boot. 4 girls and 1 really cute and clever two years old baby girl - great way to spend the weekend. I brought my Canon SLR, so here are some of my favourite shoots.

View of Teluk Kemang

The only picture I have with her, since I was the one holding the camera most of the time.. yeah, you can see half my face :)

*picture taken by Joyce.

Small feet in big my shoes.. Reminds me so much of my childhood days..

She tried putting on some 'cream' and 'makeup'..

... and then hid behind the curtain when I scolded her for messing up my eyeliner. LOL!

Us. Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger, Pooh. 4 friends unite.

Mother. Daughter.

I like this picture of me twinnie with the sunset. When I showed her, she said, "Why my hair so puffy one?"* We were on the 7th floor. There was a strong breeze blowing all the time.

Her pose when I told her to act cute..

balancing act..

fresh out of bed face..

We kept bribing her with Chocolate Panda if she sang songs for us.. Mean aunties :)

Merajuk face..

Moonlight over the sea..

I tried taking some artistic shots of lights... but failed badly.

Here's my failed attempt of a heart...

If you noticed, there are no pictures of beach, swimming pool, sand and trees. Well, we spend the entire 1.5 day inside the apartment, venturing out only for dinner.... It was super hot la!! hehe..

On Sunday morning, we were awoken by a warning announced over loud speakers across the entire beach. A warning about a flood and for us to act fast. I quickly called the reception who then confirmed that it was just a prank. Stupid right?? How can lifeguards do things like that? However, shortly after that, we heard thunder and could see the dark clouds advancing quickly from far across the horizon. We packed, and was out in a jiffy..

Short trip but oh, so relaxing and fun... We must have more trips like this..

One last shoot of us all on the bed..

guessing game

MS excel is acting up.. and every single click I do, it hangs... and then when I shut it down, it reopens and the whole cycle goes thru again.. and I've been trying for the last half and hour.. which means that I can't work!!! Arrgghh!!!! I think i got hacked or kena virus or something..

Anyway, it gives me a chance to post this up. During CNY dinner at my aunt's house, we were looking at some really old pictures. And since she wanted to throw them away, I decided to snatch it up before it ends up in the bin..

So people, start guessing who is who :)

Sorry, no prizes for those who guess correct cause... I can't really tell which is me either :p

Happy Friday everyone!!!

Twinnie is engaged too!!

I can't remember if I mentioned it on this blog but my twin sister is engaged!!! *its long overdue* I'm so happy for her. She actually got engaged earlier then me and then I got engaged too, then she had her engagement party and then I sorta had my engagement dinner and even though I am getting married first - 6 months earlier then her.... 2 bridezillas under 1 roof is not a good thing.... muaahahaha *evil laugh*

Anyway, I have not posted up her engagement party photos yet... So here it is..

It was a big group of about 50 people with mostly E's relative and some of ours held at our house. There was lots of good food, fun and of cos the proposal video :)

And it was totally decorated by Lydia and my second sister. They are all super creative... I'm the ugly duckling :) Its kinda blurry. I'm not good at night/ dark places pictures.
